Welcome once again Wednesday Warriors!

Keeping it simple this week. What is the last book, movie, song, or TV show that affected you long after it was finished? I'm only mildly embarrassed to admit that Avengers: Infinity War wrecked me for a good two days.

Don't judge me.

I also remember crying for a very long time at the end of the Hunger Games Trilogy. It wasn't just character death, it was character death that didn't feel cathartic. What about you?

If you have a second, I'd love to know!

Welcome once again Wednesday Warriors!

Unpopular opinions seem to spark really good discussion, so I'm going with it. I'm curious, is there a story — movie, book, TV show, or song — you initially hated, but gave a second chance and found you enjoyed it? One example of this for me is Napoleon Dynamite. The first time I watched it, I did. Not. Get it. I didn't think it was funny at all. But the second time I watched it, something clicked. It started with a giggle, then morphed into full on, cheek aching laughter.

What about you? Ever given a form of entertainment you initially hated a second chance?

If you have a second, I'd love to know!

Welcome once again Wednesday Warriors!

I'm back to unpopular opinions this week. I'm curious, is there a character everybody else seems to love, but you just can't stand? For me, it's Snape in Harry Potter. What about you?

If you have a second, I'd love to know!

Welcome!

Here at The Pensive Pen, I blog about writing, querying, and self-publishing my first paranormal academy series. Sometimes I might share about struggling with anxiety and insomnia, and I'll always ask questions to discover something very important to me: getting to know YOU! If you're a writer, reader, or someone trying to figure out what community looks like online, this place is for you!
